Do you want a “Prescription for Change?” Well, my signature program at Restore Body Balance in now in production as a “User Manual!” Well, …of sorts.  After nearly two decades as a licensed psychotherapist, I have found the secrets to sustaining new lifestyles are: Not taking Out but adding More and building the Right Habits at the Right Time.  So, I decided to write a book, Restore Body Balance, and it is designed to help you do just that. It’s not just about mental or physical health—it’s about lifestyle habits that will last a lifetime. And I supply you with weekly resources designed to help you succeed. I started my practice, Restore Body Balance, after seeing first-hand how pervasive the lack of access to “whole health care” is in the 21st century. After much success using my integrative health counseling programs with clients, I decided to write a step by step guide on how change happens.

In reading the book, Restore Body Balance, you will not only tap into the psychology of behavior change but nourish it with the science behind nutrition counseling. Then, deconstruct states that keep us stuck and learn how to use your lifestyle as medicine.
I truly feel I have discovered a "Prescription for Change" by blending psychology, biology and neurology. Considering myself an expert in human behavior, I went on to study all facets of how people change and adopt healthy habits.  And guess what? Scientists have discovered a road map to the brain! We now know how the mind truly works and I came to believe we can use this miraculous organ to help us change unwanted habits and behaviors.  From an evolutionary standpoint, it always wants to seek a better life on its own, so let’s give it one!  Then, by adding the art and science behind mindfulness and meditation added at the right time and place and voila! You literally start to change and adopt habits that are almost effortless.  Just like learning to read or tying your shoes.

From losing weight, to changing careers, to quitting smoking.  Maybe you just want to stress less, eat more healthfully or add exercise into your life. From small changes to life changes I wrote the “Prescription for Change!” As an Integrative Health Counselor, I combine my nearly two decades as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, (LMHC) and Licensed Drug and Alcohol Counselor (LADCI) with my enhanced credentials from The Institute for Integrative Nutrition, NYC, NY, as a Certified Health Coach, and came to see how food=mood and how what you are is truly what you eat! Then after a rigorous education at The Benson-Henry Institute, Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston, MA, I obtained certification to deliver their world renowned, Stress Management and Resiliency Training,SMART Program. Finally, I have developed a “Prescription for Change.” Using scientifically based nutritional therapies, meditation, and mindfulness, this innovative approach to health and wellness makes the path toward restoration in all facets of life achievable and long-lasting.
